Flameblood Transit

Spell Description: Flameblood Transit allows the caster to instantly teleport to any location within 100 miles where blood has been spilled or fire burns, including across different dimensions or planes, leveraging the mystical connection between these elements. This spell does not require a spell slot for those of direct descent from the original practitioners, using only the health cost as its resource.

Mechanics:

  1. Health Cost: The caster must sacrifice 200 HP to fuel the teleportation.
  2. Range Sensitivity: Enables the caster to sense any location within 100 miles where blood is present or fire is active, whether visible or not, including across various planes of existence.
  3. Teleportation Accuracy: Teleports the caster precisely to the desired location, bypassing any non-magical barriers. If the destination is magically protected, this spell will automatically bypass any magical barriers or effects of the same spell level or lower.
  4. Exclusive Caster Requirement: Only those of direct descent can cast this spell without expending a spell slot.

Upcasting:

  1. When upcasting, each additional level doubles the health cost and enhances the spell’s ability to overcome magical impediments:
    1. 11th Level: Range increases to encompass an entire continent. Overrides any level 11 or lower magical impediments.
    2. 12th Level: Range increases to planetary scale. Overrides any level 12 or lower magical impediments.
    3. 13th Level: Range extends throughout the solar system. Overrides any level 13 or lower magical impediments.
    4. 14th Level: Range expands to encompass the galaxy. Overrides any level 14 or lower magical impediments.
    5. 15th Level: Range extends to the known universe. Overrides any level 15 or lower magical impediments.
    6. 16th Level: The teleportation ability becomes unlimited in range, able to target any location within or beyond the known universe, across all dimensions and planes. Additionally, the health cost is reduced to 10 HP. Overrides all known magical impediments.
